The final of the Australian Open tennis tournament between Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic is scheduled to begin this Sunday morning, at 10:30 Cairo time, and at 11:30 Saudi Arabia time, on the floor of Rod Laver Arena.

Alcaraz, ranked first in the world, qualified for the final of the Australian Open, after defeating his counterpart, Alexander Zverev, ranked third in the world, in the semi-final, with a score of three games to two.

While Novak Djokovic, ranked fourth in the world, qualified for the final, after defeating Jannik Sinner, ranked second in the world, in the semi-finals with a score of 3-2.

A historic number awaits Djokovic

Djokovic is now just one win away from achieving a new record by winning his 25th Grand Slam title, and his 11th at Melbourne Park, and may thus become the oldest Grand Slam champion in the Open Era.

A record waiting for Carlos Alcaraz

In his first Australian Open final, the 22-year-old Alcaraz is one win away from becoming the youngest player to complete a Grand Slam series in his career.
