Spanish club Atletico Madrid has settled the deal for the Nigerian star Ademola Lookman Coming from the ranks of the Italian club Atalanta during the current winter transfer period.

According to what was announced by reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, it was agreed that Ademola Lookman would move to the ranks of Atletico Madrid, where all the details were approved.
He added that a long-term contract worth 35 million euros had been agreed upon, in addition to 5 million euros in transfer fees to Atalanta, as Atletico Madrid is now preparing to make travel arrangements for the Nigerian player and his medical examination.
Other international press reports indicated that Atalanta had reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid worth 40 million euros to include the 28-year-old Nigerian striker, after Fenerbahce rejected strict payment terms, such as paying 60% in advance and providing bank guarantees.
Lookman, who scored a hat-trick as Atalanta won the 2024 Europa League title, scored six goals and made four assists this season despite injuries, making him the focus of attention of clubs thanks to his speed and ability to finish attacks.
