Cairo 24 learned from its sources that Imad Al-Nahhas, the technical director of the Iraqi Al-Zawraa Club, was the one who requested to contract with Afsha, as he expressed his admiration for the player’s technical capabilities, and was keen to communicate with him directly during the past hours, in order to know his position on entering the experience of foreign professionalism.
Private sources added that Afsha welcomed the offer submitted by Al-Zawraa Club, and does not mind the idea of leaving and having a new experience in the Iraqi League, as long as all the details of the contract are agreed upon, whether on the financial level or the duration of the contract.
The sources indicated that the player’s position is flexible, especially in light of his desire to participate regularly and to have a new opportunity to prove himself, which may be available to him through Al-Zawraa’s offer.
It is expected that the coming days will witness new developments in the Afsha transfer file, whether by officially resolving the negotiations or entering the negotiation stage with Al-Ahly club to end the deal, in the event that a final agreement is reached between all parties.
Earlier, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, player of the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, participated last Sunday in the team’s group training in Nasr City.
Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, the team doctor, confirmed that Afsha completely recovered from calf muscle pain and participated normally in the training.
