Hani Muhanna apologized for his recent statements regarding Faten Hamama and Shadia’s relationship, as a result of which the Supreme Media Council decided to transfer him to the Council of Trade Unions, which resulted in him being banned from appearing in the media and transferred to a disciplinary council.

Hani Muhanna apologizes

Hani Muhanna published a post on his personal account on the social networking site Facebook, in which he said: I followed with a heavy heart the state of reproach and anger that followed my last television interview, and since throughout my life I have only been accustomed to frankness and respect for my audience and colleagues, I had to clarify what was in my heart.
First: I offer an apology from the heart to the soul of the two dear artists, to their honorable families, and to all of their fans.. I am very sorry that my speech should be interpreted as any offense, for God forbid that I belittle the figures whom I have lived my life and am proud to know. What happened is that at this age, and due to the years, situations and names sometimes unintentionally overlap in a person’s mind, and the narration comes out inaccurate or out of place, and it is a human matter that I hope you will understand with compassion.

Second: The pressure of live broadcasting has had a huge impact, as it requires accuracy, focus, and quick recall of information that I may not have time to recall immediately.
In conclusion: I ask you for an excuse, and from our honorable audience, for forgiveness for an unintended mistake, as my history bears witness that I have never been anything but a lover of everyone and an appreciator of art and its people.
