Engineer Raafat Hindi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, witnessed the signing ceremony of a number of commercial agreements between the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, the Egyptian Telecom Company, and E&Misr. These agreements contribute to pumping more national and international investments and developing and improving the quality of mobile phone services provided to citizens to keep pace with the continuous technological development in the field of mobile phone technology in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The agreements were signed by Engineer Mohamed Shamroukh, CEO of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Engineer Tamer Al Mahdi, Managing Director and CEO of Telecom Egypt, and Engineer Hazem Metwally, CEO of E&Egypt.

Engineer Raafat Hindi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, confirmed that the signing of these agreements comes to confirm the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in supporting the state’s directions to solve and settle all the problems and obstacles facing investors in the communications and information technology sector, as it is one of the most important productive sectors, an engine of economic development, and an essential pillar in building digital Egypt. He added that this step comes within the ministry’s directions aimed at opening new horizons for cooperation between companies working in the field of communications and information technology, which contributes to advancing efforts to develop the communications services provided. He praised the efforts of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority to reach these agreements, praising the cooperation and flexibility shown by the two companies that contributed to reaching them.
