Today, the administration of Al-Arish Sea Port announced the reopening of the port to the entry and exit of ships, after improving weather conditions, stabilizing wind speeds, and rising waves.

The administration confirmed that maritime operations in the port have returned to normal, and navigation is being resumed safely, after the gas stations were closed during the past hours to ensure the safety of ships and port workers due to bad weather conditions and increased wind speed.
The General Authority of Meteorology announced details of the weather condition on Friday, January 23, as very cold weather prevails in the early morning, warm during the day, very cold at night, and water mist prevails on some roads leading to and from the north of the country as far as Greater Cairo, the canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.

The authority explained in its statement, regarding the expected weather condition, that very cold weather will prevail in the early morning, tending to be warm during the day and very cold at night, and water mist will prevail on some roads leading to and from northern Upper Egypt as far as Greater Cairo, and chances of light rain will prevail in areas of the Western Desert, the northwestern coasts, and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
Cloud cover currently continues, as the latest satellite images indicate, over various areas of the northeastern coasts, Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, the canal cities, and Sinai, and may be accompanied by chances of light rain.
