Danish coach Jes Torop decided to coach the team Al-Ahly Al-Ahmar players were given a passive rest from group training after the match between Tanzania’s Young Africans in the CAF Champions League.
Al-Ahly achieved victory over its Tanzanian counterpart, Young Africans, with two unanswered goals in the match that brought them together in the third round of the group stage of the African Championship.
Yes Torop gave Al-Ahly players a passive rest from group training today, Saturday, for 24 hours after the victory over Young Africans, in order to catch their breath.
The red team will return to group training on Sunday evening after the end of the passive rest in order to begin preparations for Al-Ahly’s match against its counterpart, Wadi Degla, in the Premier League competition.
On the other hand, Al-Ahly strengthened its presence at the top of the standings of the second group of the African Champions League groups after the victory it achieved over Young Africans, reaching point 7.
Al-Ahly team will resume its journey in the Premier League competition with its confrontation against its counterpart, Wadi Degla, in the sixteenth round of the local competition.
