Counselor Amir Ramzy, brother of the artist Hani Ramzy, announced the death of their mother a short while ago, after a long struggle with illness, as he wrote on his Facebook account: Now… my mother’s soul has departed from earth to heaven… in peace… after a long struggle of pain and illness.

Director Mazen Al-Gharbawi, head of the Sharm El-Sheikh Youth Theater Festival, announced at a symposium honoring the artist Hani Ramzy, which was held in its last tenth session, that the artist was keen to be present despite his mother’s illness.
Mazen Al-Gharbawi added: Hani Ramzy’s commitment to attending reflects his great respect for his audience and the festival, noting that this position is not new to him, as he is always accustomed to sticking to his word and appreciating artistic events.
