Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor for the first football team at Al-Ahly club, said in a statement that the x-rays that Mohamed El-Shenawy, the team’s captain, underwent, confirmed that he had a second-degree strain of the connective muscle, which he suffered during Al-Ahly’s match against Algeria’s JS Kabylie, in the first round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The Al-Ahly doctor added that the x-rays showed that Ahmed Abdel Qader suffered a partial tear in the posterior muscle, while the x-rays revealed that Mohamed Shukri suffered a first-degree strain in the calf muscle.
Each player is scheduled to undergo rehabilitation training according to his own program to prepare him medically in preparation for his return to the team.
