Jordanian star Ali Alwan, a winger and striker for the Iraqi Al-Karma Club, excelled in the 2025 Arab Cup with Al-Nashami, where he led them to the quarter-finals and became the top scorer in the tournament with 3 goals.
There were reports in the past hours that Al-Ahly contacted the Iraqi Al-Karma Club to inquire about Ali Alwan, the team’s player, in preparation for contracting with him during the upcoming winter transfer period.

Ali Ismail, media coordinator for the Iraqi Al-Karma Club, said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24: No official from Al-Ahly Club contacted us regarding our player Ali Alwan, and we did not receive anything official.
He added: Ali Alwan is linked to the Iraqi Al-Karma Club with a contract extending until the end of 2026.
