Electricity sector announced Kafr El-SheikhIn coordination with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, the electricity supply was cut off from a number of vital areas, today, Wednesday, from six to eight in the morning, as a result of the disconnection of Transformer No. 1 at the Kafr El-Sheikh transformer station to carry out periodic maintenance work and improve the efficiency of the electrical supply.

The electricity sector statement stated that the areas affected by the dismissal include a number of service facilities and residential areas, most notably: Al-Sadr Hospital, Dermatology Hospital, Fever Hospital, Al-Zahraa Hospital, General Hospital, Al-Hilal Hospital, Al-Nasr Roundabout Water Station, Zantour Sewerage Station, Sakha Drainage Station, in addition to the areas of Al-Zohour, Gas, Paving, Traffic, Governorate, Governor’s Rest House, Stadium Area, City Club, Central, Court, Police Tower, Education, Police Division, Judges Division, Commercial Division, Division. Zantour, the Lux area, the nursery area, the Evangelical Church, the Spinning Factory Street, the Abu Al-Azayem Mosque area, Tanta Skan, the National Gas Station, Al-Hamrawi, the Sakha Mosque area, the Sakha Club, the Land Improvement Center, the Poultry Center, The Palm Hotel, the gin, Cotton Research, and multiple residential towers in Sakha, Al-Qantara, and Meet Alwan.
The Kafr El-Sheikh Electricity Sector called on citizens and vital facilities, especially hospitals and service facilities, to take the necessary measures during the scheduled dismissal period, noting that maintenance work comes within the framework of a plan to raise the efficiency of the electrical network and ensure the stability of nutrition during the coming period.
