In recent hours, Al-Ahly club continues its search for a striker to strengthen the team’s attack line, with the approaching departure of Slovenian Gradishar from the club’s ranks during the current winter transfer period.

Cairo 24 learned from its sources that Al-Ahly Club is currently choosing between an Arab striker and an African striker to strengthen the team, and that a decision will be made within hours.

According to what Cairo 24 learned from its sources, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, a member of the Al-Ahly Club’s Board of Directors, is holding sessions with two strikers, one Arab and the other African, while the sources explained that the desire is for the contract to be on loan with an eligibility to purchase clause.

Cairo 24 also learned that negotiations with the duo are currently underway and that a decision will be made within hours after the departure of Slovenian Gradishar.

Earlier, Al-Ahly club decided to agree to the departure of Slovenian Nejek Gradishar, the Red Team striker, from the ranks of the Red Castle, to join the Hungarian League during the current winter transfer period.

According to what a private source told Cairo 24, Gradishar will leave Cairo at dawn for Greece at four o’clock in the morning, and from there to Hungary in order to join the ranks of the Hungarian Obest team.

Hungary’s Obest previously made an official offer to Al-Ahly in order to obtain Gradishar’s services on loan during the current winter transfer period, until the end of the current season.
