Announce Fahd Marzouk Musician’s lawyer Atef Imam, his intention to take the necessary legal measures following the decision to remove his client from the Musical Professions Syndicate headed by the artist Mostafa Kamel, stressing that so far no date has been set for the appeal session of the case.
Fahd Marzouk explained that the Musical Professions Syndicate refuses to issue an official certificate stating that the appeal hearing has not been scheduled to date.
Atef Imam’s lawyer added that legal measures will be taken against both Mustafa Kamel and Tariq Mortada, due to what he described as the circulation of inaccurate information and news.
Atef Imam was removed from the Musical Professions Syndicate
Earlier, the Musical Professions Syndicate, headed by the General Syndicate, artist Mustafa Kamel, revealed the details of the decision to remove Dr. Atef Imam, a member of the Board of Directors, following the completion of the official investigations conducted by an advisor from the State Council, in the presence of Dr. Atef Imam personally, which resulted in the confirmation of a number of administrative and financial violations related to the Syndicate’s resources allocated to serving musicians.
Atef Imam has been officially disbarred
Tariq Mortada, the media spokesman for the Musical Professions Syndicate, said in an official statement issued a short while ago that the decision to write off came in accordance with the established legal procedures and after extensive investigations, stressing that the Syndicate does not tolerate any violations that affect the rights or resources of members.
He explained that the beginning of the crisis was due to the General Syndicate’s rejection of a proposal submitted by Dr. Atef Imam regarding the distribution of quantities of meat to members of the Board of Directors, considering that these resources are allocated to serve the members of the Syndicate who are musicians in all governorates, and not for a specific group.
