Cairo 24 learned from its own sources that the Authority Nationalism For the tunnels, it is about to introduce new amendments to modernize the services for obtaining metro tickets inside all stations during the next few days.
The sources confirmed that the TVM machines designated for metro tickets located inside the stations on all three lines are scheduled to be updated, explaining that the feature of obtaining metro tickets with a Visa through the TVM machines will be added.

The sources pointed out that this new update will be in addition to the POS machine service available inside the metro ticket windows, as part of the keenness to provide all possible means for the comfort of passengers and to avoid crowding in front of the ticket windows due to change.
The sources indicated that all these measures come within the framework of the National Tunnels Authority’s keenness to provide multiple options for metro passengers to obtain tickets quickly without standing in queues in front of the ticket office.
This came days after the announcement of the use of visa services at the metro ticket counters, which was a great success in facilitating obtaining tickets in the event of unavailability of change, whether with the passenger or at the ticket teller inside the metro stations.
