The artist Sherif Idris commemorated the anniversary of his late father’s death, which falls today. The artist was keen to ask all his followers for mercy and forgiveness from all his followers. He also expressed his deep miss of him and his sadness over his passing.
Sherif Idris wrote a post, via his personal account on the social networking site Facebook, in which he said: Today is the third anniversary of my father. I ask you to pray for him and my mother, may God have mercy on them.. I miss them and miss them very much. Oh God, my father and mother are under your protection and the rope of your side. They understand the temptation of the grave and the torment of the fire, and you are the people of loyalty and truth, so forgive them and have mercy on them. You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.
In another context, Sherif Idris previously revealed the reason for his lack of artistic work, as he confirmed that he is waiting for a suitable work to be offered to him so that he can return it to the public. The artist said in a previous interview with Cairo 24: I will not disappear, but I am waiting for a good role, and I hope to work with all people.
In this regard, the artist Sherif Idris broke his silence and spoke about the suffering that his generation is going through. Sherif Idris wrote a previous post for him, via his Facebook account, in which he said: Maher Essam, may God have mercy on him, Moawad Ismail, Ahmed Aql, Ahmed Azmi, Nader Hassan, Fadi Khafaji, Hind Hosni, Ahmed Ezzat, Karim Al-Husseini… most of my generation and others, we are a generation that has become corrupt, hon. Among us is the one who is ungrateful. He continued, and among us was the one who gave up because he was tired and the circumstances of life kept him away.
