A state of criticism and controversy arose in the streets of Qena, after the opening of Qena Station Square, after it was developed into an obelisk with a distinctive civilized appearance, due to the appearance of the name of a businessman in bold font on the square.

After its development… criticism and controversy due to the presence of the name of a businessman on Al-Masala Square in front of Qena Station

Some social media pages on the social networking site Facebook circulated some pictures of the square after its development, and the name of a businessman was boldly mistaken for him being the investor who donated the cost of the development, commenting: An image that does not befit the Qena Governorate.

In this regard, Cairo 24 contacted Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, and promised to solve the problem so that Al Mahatta Square would become a distinctive cultural appearance befitting Qena Governorate, especially after its development.
