
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly held, Prime Ministerheld a meeting this evening, to review the developments in the project to revitalize the Nazlet El-Semman area as a tourist destination, in the presence of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Engineer Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza, Dr. Hind Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor of Giza, Dr. Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities for Technical Affairs, Engineer Howaida El-Nouby, President of the Egyptian General Authority for Surveying, and Dr. Ashraf Mohieldin, General Director of the Area. Giza monuments.
The Prime Minister confirmed that the state is moving forward with the implementation of an “integrated tourism plan” aimed at transforming the area surrounding the pyramids and Nazlet El-Semman into a unique international destination in harmony with the Grand Egyptian Museum, stressing that the project to revitalize the Nazlet El-Semman area is based on preserving the visual identity and archaeological character of the region, while providing tourism and hotel services with international standards, and modernizing the surrounding infrastructure and traffic axes to ensure an exceptional and safe experience for visitors.
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly pointed out that the vision of the “Revitalizing Nazlet El-Semman” project is based on the principle of effective community participation, by transforming the region into a vital tourist center that opens new economic horizons and various job opportunities for the people of the region.
He stressed the government’s commitment to taking into account the social dimension in all stages of the project, stressing that the ultimate goal of these efforts is to raise the level of services and facilities provided, and to achieve direct and sustainable benefit for the residents of the region as original partners in the development process.
During the meeting, the development vision and the proposed administrative framework for the revitalization of the Nazlet El-Semman area were reviewed, as well as the hotel and hospitality plan for the region.
The pilot project proposal in the Nazlet El-Semman and Mansourieh areas was also reviewed, with the aim of reimagining the region as a world-class tourist village through the restoration and revival of historical buildings, as well as the development of infrastructure, as well as the provision of selected and coordinated hospitality services that combine authentic heritage with modern technological applications.
Counselor Muhammad Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the meeting dealt with reviewing the executive position of the Nazlet El-Semman revitalization project, where the procedures for contracting with the architectural consultant were completed, and the Survey Authority was directed to audit the cadastral survey that was conducted for the region, and it is expected that the detailed general plan will be completed within a period ranging between 2-3 months from receiving the audited cadastral map, adding that it was noted during the meeting that the general plan was presented to the people of the region, and it was welcomed by most of the attendees.
