For its part, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the incident, which stated: As part of revealing the circumstances of a post and video clip that was circulated on social networking sites and a news site, it included a citizen’s call for help about two people assaulting his brother and causing his injury in the Suez Governorate.
Upon examination, it was revealed that on the 21st of this month, a driver with criminal information residing in the Arba’een Police Department was informed to the Suez Police Department that while he was in the department’s department, 4 people, two of whom had criminal information residing in the department’s department, attacked him with knives and caused him injury due to previous disputes between them.
The defendants were arrested, and they were in possession of bladed weapons used in mining. Legal measures were taken, and upon presentation to the Public Prosecution, it decided to release one of them and continue imprisoning the rest of the accused.
