Today, the village of Dalhamo, affiliated to the Ashmoun Center in Menoufia Governorate, witnessed a state of confusion after it was exposed to a wave of strong winds, which resulted in a power outage in a number of homes, the fall of a large tree, and the fall of a high-voltage electricity pole, which raised residents’ fears of human losses or injuries.

A tree and a high-pressure pole fell due to strong winds in Dalhamo, Menoufia

A number of residents said that strong winds hit the village and caused a tree to tilt and fall on a side road, before the effect of the bad weather extended to the electricity network, where a high-pressure pole fell, and the power was cut off in various areas, amid a state of anxiety among the residents.

The residents added to Cairo 24 that they launched urgent appeals to officials to quickly move, send emergency teams to remove the effects of the accident, and secure the location of the electrical pole, for fear that citizens would be electrocuted, demanding that the electrical current be restored as quickly as possible, especially with the drop in temperatures accompanied by the winds.
