In a tragic incident similar to science fiction movies, the scientist created a top-secret experimental weapon that emits powerful pulses of microwave radiation, with the aim of proving that these waves cannot cause the mysterious disease symptoms that spies and diplomats complain about. But the result was disastrous, as the scientist fell victim to his invention, and began to show symptoms of the disease itself, including devastating headaches, dizziness, and damage to brain cells.

The incident caused a state of panic, prompting the Norwegian government to immediately contact the CIA, and officials from the Pentagon and the White House rushed to travel to Norway twice to investigate the incident.

Medical reports confirmed that the scientist’s symptoms, despite their seriousness, were not exactly identical to the classic cases of the syndrome, but they were sufficient to prove the danger of these weapons.

This disaster coincided with leaks stating that the US Department of Homeland Security spent millions of dollars in a secret operation to purchase a similar device containing Russian components, in order to conduct experiments and understand how these waves work, which are believed to be the reason behind the attacks that began in Cuba in 2016, and affected diplomats in more than 15 countries around the world, including Russia and China.

What is Havana syndrome?

Havana syndrome is a mysterious, unexplained medical condition that first appeared in 2016 among employees of the US Embassy in Cuba.

Those infected with it suffer from serious symptoms that include severe headaches, dizziness, and sudden cognitive symptoms that cause confusion, and these cases have been reported by hundreds of spies and diplomats in more than 15 countries around the world, including Russia, China, India and the United Kingdom.

According to the US government, the syndrome is likely caused by abnormal health incidents (AHIs), but there is a strong theory that it is caused by deliberate attacks using weapons that rely on pulsed energy, or radio waves.
