Leaks indicate that Apple is planning to launch a distinct iPhone model with a 6.7-inch screen, and reports indicate that the device’s rear camera comes with many improvements, including larger sensors that capture more light in order to give images better quality, in addition to switching to a mechanical image stabilization system.
The latest information comes from the famous analyst (Ming-Chi Kuo), who said that the 6.7-inch iPhone will also contain a mechanical image stabilization system to compensate for hand shake, and the larger sensor size helps reduce noise in the image. If the information is correct, this constitutes one of the most important changes that Apple has made to the camera since it added the second lens with the iPhone 7 Plus, and Kuo predicted in a research note that the technology will reach two or three new iPhone models in 2021.
Although details are scant, a mechanical image stabilization system could bring stabilization to the ultra-wide lens on future iPhones, starting with the 6.7-inch model. The iPhone 11 Pro models feature an optical image stabilization system for photos and videos, but only when using the wide or telephoto lens. The mechanical image stabilization system provides a solution to this problem, because stabilization can be applied to the camera sensor itself without relying on any specific lens. Apple uses the optical image stabilization system, which uses lens movement instead of sensor movement, to compensate for shake, and the mechanical image stabilization system can lead to better shots with attached lens accessories such as (OlloClip).
It is rumored that the 6.7-inch iPhone will have the largest screen ever compared to any existing iPhone, and the information also shows that it is slightly longer than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. On a different note, the analyst predicted that at least one model of the iPhone for 2022 will contain a periscope lens, which could allow 5X optical zoom like the Huawei P30 Pro or allow 10X optical zoom. Current iPhones have a maximum of 2X optical zoom and a maximum of 10X digital zoom. Optical zoom maintains the quality of the shot when zoomed in, while digital zoom results in some blur.
