When vivo and iQOO announced the global launch of OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, ending the division between OriginOS and FuntouchOS, the two brands revealed a schedule for updating current devices. However, this table was somewhat misleading.
For example, the 2023 iQOO 12 phone was scheduled to receive the OriginOS 6 update in mid-November. The update had already arrived at that time, but it was not the stable version, but rather a public trial version that users could join from the phone settings.

The new update for device serial number I2220 has build PD2307CF_EX_A_16.2.11.1.W20 and comes with the November 1, 2025 security patch level.
