Huawei launched the Pura X in March as a completely different experience from the usual foldable devices. The phone came with a vertical folding design similar to the Flip category of devices, but it had a unique aspect ratio of 16:10 when opened, making it wider than any Flip device launched previously.

Now, it seems that Huawei’s experiment in this unconventional design has achieved success that pushes it to introduce a new generation. According to a new leak from China, the company is already working on developing the Pura X2.

The device is expected to arrive in the first quarter of next year, that is, between January and March. Rumors indicate that it will work with the Kirin 9030 processor, which is the natural development after adopting the Kirin 9020 in the previous generation.

Until this moment, no other details have emerged about the Pura X2 specifications, but it is expected that leaks will continue during the coming period.
