Before the CES 2026 exhibition, Samsung announced a new lineup of Odyssey gaming screens for the year 2026, which includes five models that combine high resolution, 3D display without glasses, as well as high hertz rates that reach 1040 in some models.
Samsung first unveiled the Odyssey 3D G90XH monitor, which offers what it describes as the first glasses-free 6K 3D gaming display. The screen is based on a 32-inch panel and supports a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports.
Real-time eye movement tracking technology works to show three-dimensional depth without the need for glasses, while Dual Mode allows access to 330 Hz, with a 1ms GtG response time.
Next, the company introduced the Odyssey G6 G60H, which boasts an unprecedented 1040Hz refresh rate when played at HD resolution. When played at its original QHD resolution of 27 inches, the refresh rate reaches 600 Hz. The screen supports AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync technologies to increase the smoothness of gameplay and reduce stuttering.

Then Samsung revealed the Odyssey G8 series in three different sizes. The 32-inch G80HS offers 6K resolution with a refresh rate of 165Hz, and can rise to 330Hz when upgrading to 3K. While the 27-inch G80HF model offers 5K resolution with a 180Hz base refresh rate and access to 360Hz QHD resolution.
Meanwhile, the 32-inch G80SH model comes with a 4K QD-OLED panel with up to 240Hz refresh rate, anti-reflective coating, 300nits brightness and HDR True Black 500 certification. All Odyssey G8 models support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync technologies for a more stable viewing experience.
The new Odyssey series of displays is scheduled to be shown at CES 2026, while prices and availability dates will be revealed later.
