Samsung recently hinted at the capabilities of its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra phone in night photography, then its version in the United States published a short video clip showcasing the phone’s capabilities in low-light video recording. So far, it seems like a normal part of the usual promotional campaigns.
But what is striking is that the clip itself was created with the help of artificial intelligence tools. Here the question arises: Why did the company not rely on real video filmed with the phone in low-light conditions to highlight its actual capabilities?
During the video, a direct question is asked: Can your phone do that? However, the clip’s reliance on artificial intelligence tools raises some confusion, as it may be understood that what was shown does not necessarily reflect the realistic performance of the phone itself.
It is true that Samsung explained the use of artificial intelligence and did not hide the matter, but this step may raise controversy about the intended marketing message.
In any case, Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy S26 Ultra alongside the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ on February 25. Leaks have also recently appeared that include the full specifications of the three devices, in addition to the expected prices in Europe.
