Samsung is preparing to officially announce the new Galaxy S26 series, while some are still wondering if the Galaxy S26 Edge will replace the Plus version, or if the Pro version will come instead of the basic version. Despite the spread of previous rumors that denied this scenario, the latest leaks confirmed the same trend.
According to a promotional PDF document published by Samsung Colombia, the Galaxy S26 series that will be unveiled during this year’s Galaxy S26 Unpacked event will include only three phones, namely the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, without any mention of the Pro or Edge versions.
However, this does not necessarily mean that the two phones will be canceled permanently. Samsung may choose to postpone the launch of the Edge version at least to a later date. But for now, all indications are that the company may be moving towards phasing out the Edge series.
