Samsung is preparing to unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, and the new Privacy Display technology is expected to take center stage during the Galaxy Unpacked event, especially in the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

According to well-known leaker Ice Universe, this technology will not remain exclusive to Samsung phones only, as it may make its way to Apple’s MacBook devices in the coming years.

The report indicates the possibility of Apple adopting this technology by 2029, which may represent an important addition to laptop computers, with the possibility of expanding its use later by other brands.

Privacy Display technology aims to protect screen content from prying eyes by selectively reducing viewing angles, so that only the content remains clearly visible to the user. The user will also be able to activate the feature on specific parts of the screen or turn it off completely as needed.

The leaks indicate that the technology will remain exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra in the beginning, due to its reliance on physical components integrated into the screen.
