The CES 2026 exhibition witnessed the unveiling of the third generation of the RingConn Gen 3 smart ring, which comes as a successor to the Gen 2 and Gen 2 Air series to offer a wide range of radical improvements that strengthen its position as a strong competitor in the wearable devices market. As in previous versions, the new model features a body made of waterproof titanium, but it is now available in five distinct colors including matte black, polished silver, shiny silver, royal gold, and polished rose gold, giving it A look closer to luxury jewelry.

Perhaps the most prominent health addition in this generation is the ability to warn users about high blood pressure, as the ring relies on analyzing data derived from heart rate sensors, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), accelerometer, and skin temperature sensor to determine potential risks of high blood pressure, emphasizing that this function provides insights into health trends and is not considered a substitute for accurate medical measurements, which is an approach similar to what was provided by the Circular Ring 2.

The second major addition is the integration of a vibration motor that provides direct tactile feedback to the user, which means the possibility of receiving alerts when fitness goals are achieved or when unusual readings are detected without the need to look at the phone. The company also expanded the range of available sizes to include sizes from 6 to 15, which makes it suitable for a wider segment of users compared to the previous generation.

In terms of energy, RingConn promised to improve battery life to exceed the performance of the previous generation, which lasted between ten to twelve days on a full charge, and although the exact operating numbers or final price have not been announced yet, it is certain that the device will maintain its major competitive advantage by not requiring any paid subscription to access health data, and it is expected to be put on the market later this year.
