Days before the official reveal, OnePlus today announced the actual battery capacity of the OnePlus 15R, which will be officially presented on December 17 alongside the Pad Go 2 and Watch Lite.
The company has confirmed that the phone will carry a huge battery with a capacity of 7,400 mAh, which is the largest in any OnePlus phone outside China, while the Ace 6T phone remains the record holder inside China with a capacity of 8,300 mAh.
The battery will support 80-watt SuperVOOC charging, and OnePlus stated that it will maintain at least 80% of its original capacity after four years of use. The cell uses 15% silicon within the anode to improve efficiency.
Earlier, the company revealed that the OnePlus 15R will operate with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, and will come with an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165Hz, with the ability to reach 1,800 nits in high brightness mode. The phone will also support the new Plus Mind features, in addition to the presence of Plus Key.
