OnePlus followed in the steps of its previous phones, the OnePlus 13, OnePlus 12, and OnePlus Open, as it began today to roll out the OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16 for the OnePlus 11 phone issued in 2023.
The update will initially arrive for phone units sold in India only, via over-the-air update technology as version CPH2447_16.0.1.300(EX01). The size of the update is 3.58 GB, so it is recommended to download while connected to a fast network.
It is worth noting that the rollout is being done in phases, so not all OnePlus 11 owners in India may get the update notification immediately. If you have not received the update yet, do not worry, it will arrive within the next few days, unless any major errors are discovered that prevent installation.
The changelog in this update carries many features and improvements, just as was the case with the rest of the OnePlus devices that received OxygenOS 16.
