Some leaks revealed many new visual updates that Windows 10 will receive, especially in its main interface. Microsoft returned to the idea of live tiles in the Start menu, which received a new design.
Microsoft used a transparent background that appears in the left section of the Start menu that contains application icons, instead of a single color. Microsoft aims to make the interface simpler and easier to browse to identify applications that are used daily.
On the other hand, the Alt-Tab feature for switching between applications also received an update, so that it now includes website tabs open in the Edge browser, and not just applications and programs active in Windows.
This feature will greatly benefit those who rely on Edge as their default browser and have many tabs open.
You always have the option to disable this modification and make it as before, limited to programs only, and Edge is only one of them.
A new design for the Windows Start menu was revealed and the Alt-Tab switch between applications was updated. The taskbar also received simple modifications that make it more personal when connecting your Android phone or logging in to an Xbox Live account. All of these modifications have become available today in the latest beta version of Windows 10 for testing before they are later officially approved and launched in the final version.
