New leaks revealed additional details about the upcoming Huawei Pura X2 phone, after previous reports at the end of last year indicated that Huawei was working on developing the new generation of the Pura X series.

On the other hand, the information indicates that the new phone maintains a design close to the previous generation, with clear improvements to the size of the internal and external screens. The foldable internal screen is expected to measure about 7.5 inches, which will enhance the viewing experience and daily use.

As for the external design level, while the previous version placed the external screen and the camera unit on the same side, it is said that the Huawei Pura X2 will adopt a different distribution, as the external screen will occupy half of the interface, while the camera unit will move to the opposite side of the device.

According to the same source, the phone will include a quad-camera system, along with a redesigned hinge to improve durability and smooth folding. It is also expected to provide several versions powered by the Kirin 9020, Kirin 9030, and Kirin 9030 Pro processors. Memory options may also reach 20 GB of RAM with an internal storage capacity of up to 1 TB.

On the software front, the phone is likely to run HarmonyOS 6.1 with the integration of a smart assistant powered by artificial intelligence. In terms of colours, the phone is expected to be offered in several options, including blue, black, green, orange, purple and white.

Interestingly, the leaker had initially referred to a 200-megapixel main camera, before later deleting this information, leaving this detail in doubt until now.
