Xiaomi is expected to launch two new devices: the sub-flagship phone Redmi K90 Ultra and a compact tablet called Redmi K Pad 2, and before the official announcement, a leak indicates that both devices will use speakers tuned by Bose.

The leaks indicate a performance-focused approach to the phone with an overclocked MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and a built-in cooling fan, and the phone may contain a battery with a capacity of about 8,500 mAh with support for 100-watt fast charging.

Meanwhile, the Redmi K Pad 2 is expected to be a compact tablet featuring an 8.8-inch LCD display with 3K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and is also said to have a battery capacity of close to 9,000 mAh.

The tablet is expected to be launched in the first half of 2026 in China. For reference, the Redmi K Pad (the predecessor of the K Pad 2) was launched as the Xiaomi Pad Mini in international markets; Hence, we may see the K Pad 2 in the global market as well, but with a different brand.
