The Redmi Turbo 5 series has witnessed a large wave of leaks over the past months, and now a new leak reveals the chipsets that the Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro versions will operate with.
According to a leaker on Weibo, the Redmi Turbo 5 will have a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, while the Turbo 5 Pro version will be based on the Dimensity 9500e chip.
Despite the circulation of this information, MediaTek has not officially announced either chip yet. Recent rumors indicate the possibility of launching the Turbo 5 series on December 25 alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, while other leaks expect it to arrive in January 2026, making the actual launch date not yet decided.
In terms of expected specifications, the Redmi Turbo 5 is likely to come with a 6.6-inch display with 1.5K resolution, a metal body, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, in addition to a 7,500 mAh battery.

On the other hand, expectations indicate that the Turbo 5 Pro will have a larger 9,000 mAh battery with 100-watt wired charging support, along with a 1.5K LTPS OLED screen, a metal chassis, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
While leaks continue to shape the features of the series, the official announcement remains the only one capable of confirming these details and clarifying whether it will launch at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2026.
