The RePod Ultra concept turns the Apple Watch Ultra into a modern cyberpunk MP3 device, strongly inspired by the iPod era with its classic click wheel.
The manufacturer points out that many Apple Watch Ultra watches remain unused in drawers, and that this case provides a solution for reusing the device.
However, some are wondering: Are there really that many smartwatches worth up to $800 lying around abandoned in drawers? Perhaps the most realistic reason for using this case is that it can turn your Apple Watch into a “toy” device or a tool for getting away from digital screens.
The RePod allows users to leave their smartphones at home while staying connected and accessing essential functions like music, maps, Apple Pay, and messaging, without the constant distractions of social media apps on the phone’s big screen.

Although the RePod Ultra is WPG’s first Kickstarter product, similar devices from the company are already available on Amazon. Users can pre-order the RePod Ultra for $79, with delivery expected to begin in April 2026.
However, caution is advised when dealing with crowdfunding campaigns, due to potential risks, including the product not working as advertised or not reaching the market.
