The government approved a new 15% increase in pensions starting from July 2025, as part of an expanded package to protect the most needy groups and improve the standard of living of pensioners.
The Social Insurance Authority confirmed in its statement that the disbursement of pensions takes place on the first day of every Gregorian month, which means that those entitled to pensions will receive their December 2025 pension on Sunday, December 1, with the increase that has been implemented since last July.

The Social Insurance Authority announced the provision of several flexible methods for disbursing pensions, so that each citizen chooses the method most appropriate for him, including:
-Egyptian post offices.
-Government banks and commercial banks.
-Fawry outlets.
-Automated teller machines (ATMs) of banks.
-E-wallets on mobile phones.
How to inquire about the December 2025 pension
The pensioner can inquire about his pension data by following the following steps:
-Enter the official website of the Social Insurance Authority.
-Choose the “Pensioner” icon, then click on “Insurance Services.”
– Choose a service to inquire about the basic data of the pension file.
– Enter the national ID number, then press the “Inquiry” button.
– Complete pension file data appears to the user.

The Authority provides the possibility of inquiring about the increase applied to pensions through:
-Enter the Social Insurance website.
-Log in with your national ID and password, or create a new account.
– Choose the “Review the development of pension increase” service.
