Yesterday, Huawei presented a large group of new devices in China, which included only four phones from the Mate 80 series, in addition to the Watch Ultimate Design, the MatePad Edge, the Mate X7 phone, and a 110-inch Mini LED TV.

In the midst of these announcements, Huawei quietly updated its foldable computer, the MateBook Fold, six months after its first launch.

So far, the computer has not received a global release, and its design in the application is closer to the ThinkPad X1 Fold than to dual-screen computers such as the Asus Zenbook Duo. The MateBook Fold was previously available in black, blue and white colors with keyboards matching its foldable 18-inch screen.

The new version of the MateBook Fold represents a visual renewal of the computer. Previously, the 32GB RAM and 2TB storage variant was only available in black.

While the options remained; Light blue and white are limited to the 1TB version. Now, Huawei has expanded the availability of the 2TB version to include the new red color known as “Ruihong”.

It is noted that this color is also available on the Mate XTs Ultimate Design and Mate

The updated MateBook Fold is priced at CNY 26,999 (~$3,815), with no global launch plan yet.
