HP has announced new versions for the year 2026 of its economical Chromebook 14 and Chromebook x360 14 laptops, which are scheduled to be put on the market starting in February. These updates come with almost identical technical specifications for the two devices, as they rely on Intel N250 or Intel N150 processors, with random memory (RAM) of up to 8GB and storage of up to 256GB.

Both devices feature a 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2K (1920 x 1200), an aspect ratio of 16:10, and a brightness of 300 nits. The fundamental difference lies in the design; The x360 model has a 360-degree hinge that allows it to be transformed into a tablet with a touch screen as standard, while touch is optional in the traditional Chromebook 14 model.

Additional features include a 1080p webcam with a privacy cover, support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 technologies, a USB-C port that supports charging and display, in addition to a battery that lasts up to 8 hours. The devices will be available in a variety of colors, including silver, blue and green, while prices will be revealed later.
