Below we will learn how to use the screen recording feature on the iPhone: The screen recording feature comes built-in to iPhones, but to use it, you first need to check that there is a screen recording button in the Control Center, and to open it, swipe down from the top right corner if you are using an iPhone
After accessing the Control Center, check for the presence of the screen recording button, which looks like a red dot with a circle around it. If it is not present, it can be added through the following steps:

- Go to (Settings).
- Click on the Control Center option.
- Choose Customize Controls.
- Scroll down and press the (+) sign next to the (Screen Recording) option.
How to record screen on iPhone
Before starting, remember that there are some applications that prevent screen recording. To record the screen, follow these steps:
- Open the app or site you want to record while using it.
- Go to the Control Center, then turn on Do Not Disturb mode by pressing the crescent icon, to temporarily stop the arrival of calls and notifications, to prevent recording everything that appears on the screen, especially notifications.
- While in the Control Center, press the Start Recording button to start recording.
- Once you press the screen recording button, the timer will start running, and you will have three seconds before the recording begins.
- Tap the screen to hide the Control Center menu.
Turn on the microphone when recording the screen on iPhone
If you want to record your voice while speaking or any other external sounds, in addition to recording the audio you play on your phone, you will have to turn on the microphone, through the following steps:
- Before you start recording, press and hold the screen recording button.
- Tap the Microphone button in the pop-up screen to turn on the microphone.
- Click on (Start Recording) and the countdown will start in this window.
- Click anywhere on the screen to exit the screen.
- Click on the next screen to close Control Center. And remember, once your microphone is turned on, it will remain on the next time you record your screen unless you turn it off.
To stop recording, swipe up (or down depending on your phone model) to access Control Center and then tap the record button again. Click on the red bar at the top of the screen to stop recording. From the pop-up window, a message will appear asking you if you want to stop recording. Click on Stop.
The video you recorded will be saved with the rest of your photos and videos in your iPhone’s Photos app.
