Honor announced the new Honor Watch X5 in conjunction with the Honor 500 series in China. This smart watch comes with a large AMOLED screen, GPS, and supports more than 120 different sports modes.
The watch features a 1.97-inch screen with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels, with 2.5D curved glass and a 60Hz refresh rate. The watch weighs 29 grams without the strap, and carries an IP68 plus 5ATM water and dust resistance rating.
The watch body is made of aluminum alloy, while plastic is used on the back. The watch has a single button with a rotating crown that is used to navigate menus.
Honor Watch X5 provides users with multiple sensors, including a PPG heart rate sensor to track physical activity. The watch also supports sleep tracking, women’s health tracking, and provides a built-in GPS system, in addition to 120 different sports modes.

The watch allows connectivity via Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC, and comes with a magnetic charging port. It also provides AOD always-on display mode, Bluetooth calls, a remote camera control function, and a “Do Not Disturb” mode.
The battery lasts up to 14 days with typical use, and up to 5 days when AOD mode is activated. The watch also contains a microphone and speaker.
