Major General Engineer Ashraf Barakat, Ministry Advisor, witnessed Housing For Follow-up, Projects and Facilities Affairs, and Engineer Adel Hassan, Head of Sanitation in Greater Cairo, implemented an integrated simulation model for an emergency crisis within the company’s Crisis and Emergency Room, which was equipped and developed with the latest programs and technical systems that support rapid decision-making.

Major General Ashraf Barakat stressed that crisis management in any service institution depends on integration between different sectors, harmony in exchanging information, and the use of modern means of communication that ensure immediate access of data to the competent authorities, noting that increasing the efficiency of the emergency system enhances the company’s ability to respond quickly and immediately contain events and crises.

For his part, Engineer Adel Hassan explained that the human element and its training represent the basic foundation for dealing with crises, noting that the company has significant cumulative experience in confronting emergency situations, especially during periods of heavy rain and increased actions and pressure on stations and networks and maneuvers during major malfunctions.

The tour was accompanied by Engineer Karim Salah, the Technical Office of the Ministry of Housing, and Dr. Mohamed Mustafa, Head of the Main Crisis Room at the Ministry of Housing.
