Honor introduced the Magic 8 series in China in mid-October 2025, and the series included two of the first flagship phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Today, the Magic 8 Pro version officially begins to leave the Chinese market.

Honor Magic 8 Pro is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, where the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model comes at 4,599 RM, while the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model is priced at RM5,199.

These prices are approximately equivalent to 1,113 and 1,258 US dollars, while these versions are sold in China for approximately 847 and 946 dollars. To encourage pre-booking, Honor is adding the Insta360 Ace Pro camera to the Malaysian offer, along with other promotional benefits.

The Malaysian version carries the same specifications as the Chinese version, including a huge 7,100 mAh battery that supports 80-watt wireless charging and 100-watt fast wired charging. The phone also stands out for its 6.71-inch screen, which offers an HBM brightness of up to 1,800 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Regarding the camera, test results show the Magic 8 Pro’s ability to deal with various shooting conditions, as it captures detailed images thanks to the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
