Apple is currently developing a new wearable device that works with artificial intelligence in the form of a small smart pin, and the size is close to the AirTag, according to a recent report. If this product reaches the market, it will be the first Apple device built primarily around artificial intelligence technologies, with the possibility of it running an advanced version of Siri.
According to a report by The Information, the project is still in the early development stage, with the possibility of it being postponed or even canceled entirely at any time.
According to the leaks, the smart pin comes with a circular design similar to the AirTag in terms of shape and size, with a body made of aluminum and glass. It is also said that it will include two wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras on the front, along with three microphones and a built-in speaker, in addition to a side button for manual control.
In terms of features, the device is expected to support video recording, taking photos, monitoring ambient sounds, and playing audio, as well as supporting wireless charging.

On the other hand, it is still unclear whether Apple plans to launch this pin as a complementary accessory to its current devices or as a completely standalone product. Expectations indicate that it could be announced in 2027, with the possibility of postponement or cancellation continuing as stated in the report.
Although wearable AI devices have not achieved much success in recent years, and the Humane AI Pin is a clear example of this, interest in this type of product has not diminished.
Other companies continue to explore the idea, including OpenAI, which is said to be developing a smart pen-like device, along with other AI-powered accessories.
