Today, Mohamed Al-Muhandis, Chairman of the Chamber of Engineering Industries, opened the center Exhibitions in Nasr City, activities of the third edition From the Deepening Local Manufacturing Exhibition, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and organized by the Chamber of Engineering Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, with the participation of 250 companies, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and the Federation of Egyptian Industries, which continues until next Saturday.

The opening ceremony was attended by Engineer Khalil Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fresh, Engineer Raafat Al-Khanajri, Member of the Board of Directors, Engineer Bahaa Dimitri, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Engineer Ahmed Kamal, Director of the Environmental Compliance Office at the Federation of Industries, Engineer Abdel Sadiq Ahmed, Technical Advisor to the Chamber, Kamel Hegazy, Director General of the Chamber, Wael Omar, President of Business Plus Company organizing the exhibition, Mohamed Masoud, Commercial Attaché at the Libyan Embassy, and Major General Mustafa Abdel Qader, representing the The Arab Organization for Industrialization, Major General Muhammad Saeed Amin Al-Kharashi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Qir Engineering Industries Company in Military Production, Ashraf Al-Hawari, Director of Business Plus, and Engineer Ayman Rushdi, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electronics Factory.
Deepening local industrialization exhibition
Mohamed Al-Muhandis said that this exhibition has become part of the map of important exhibitions in Egypt, which receives great demand from exhibitors and visitors specialized in engineering industries. It is expected that the number of visitors this year will exceed 5,000 representatives of companies and factories looking to provide their production requirements from the local market. It is offered by the Chamber to members free of charge to participate in it.
He pointed out that the main goal of the exhibition is to deepen local manufacturing, reduce the import bill, and create networking processes between manufacturers, so that their needs are met from the local market.
The President of the Chamber of Engineering Industries stated that a number of important dialogue sessions will be held during the exhibition days about the facilitations provided by the government to investors and manufacturers, as well as the role of the Chamber and the services it provides to its members, and listening to exhibitors and their proposals and visions to support the industrial sector during the coming period.
Nisreen Refaat, representative of the Industrial Modernization Center, explained that what is new in this edition of the exhibition is inviting 5 foreign companies specialized in the home appliances sector to participate this year, in coordination with the Chamber, as a nucleus for transforming the exhibition from local to international, with the aim of localizing and attracting foreign investments to the Egyptian market and creating partnerships between factories and foreign companies.
Engineer Essam Nour El-Din, Director General of Civil Marketing at the Arab Organization for Industrialization, gave a detailed presentation on the Authority’s most important activities and products in the field of engineering industries and manufacturing of critical spare parts for the benefit of various Egyptian companies and factories, in a way that deepens overall industrialization and reduces the import bill, in integration with other industrial entities.
