Apple has announced the redesign of Siri and more features coming to iOS14, according to what the company announced a short while ago at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference WWDC 2020. As was expected, the company began revealing the latest versions of its operating systems and, of course, highlighted its voice assistant Siri, which has been supported with more means to facilitate the user experience.

As Apple announced, the first of these additions that Siri received with the upcoming iOS 14 version is the new redesign of the Assistant interface through a colored ball resembling a magic crystal with a beautiful and harmonious 3D design that appears at the bottom of the interface when starting up and giving commands, in contrast to what we are accustomed to seeing in the previous version of iOS, where the Assistant occupies the entire interface when summoned.

Another notable addition was to display the information requested from Siri in the form of notifications similar to the alerts we get from other system applications or those we receive from social media applications.

In addition to the above, Siri will support sending voice messages in conjunction with the use of the iMessage messaging application and many other features.

It is worth noting that the voice assistant Siri received 25 billion requests during the past month, according to what was stated by Yael Garten, director of data and engineering for the voice assistant department at Apple. This prompted the company to increase its interest in this aspect and invest more, and most likely we will see Siri tests on other company systems with some customizations that suit each of them.
