A court ruled Administrative judiciary Today, Sunday, November 23, the Council of State rejected lawsuits related to the movie The Atheist.

The lawsuit to stop the film The Atheist was rejected

One of the lawsuits included a demand to show the film in Egyptian cinemas, confirming that the film obtained an official license from the Censorship of Audiovisual Works under No. 121 of 2023, and that it was written by writer Ibrahim Issa and produced by Al-Sobki Film Production Company.

Mortada Mansour said that he filed a lawsuit against Ahmed Fouad, Minister of Culture, and the head of censorship of artistic works, Khaled Abdel Jalil, Ibrahim Issa, and Ahmed Al-Sabki.

Producer Ahmed Al-Sabki announced the screening of the film The Atheist, starring the artist Ahmed Hatem, in August. The work is directed by Mohamed Al-Adl and written by journalist and media writer Ibrahim Issa.
