Honor is preparing to officially unveil the Magic8 Pro Air phone on January 19, and with the escalation of the teaser campaign for the thin and light phone, new information has emerged, this time focusing on the camera specifications in detail.

Honor revealed that its next flagship phone will rely on a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor. It is accompanied by a 64-megapixel periscope camera.

In this context, leaker UniverseIce added some additional details, explaining that the main camera will come with an f/1.6 lens aperture and a 23 mm equivalent focal length.

As for the periscope zoom camera, it is said that it will rely on an f/2.6 lens aperture and an equivalent focal length of 74 mm, with support for 3.2x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The rear camera system is completed with a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, with an f/2.2 lens aperture and a 16 mm equivalent focal length.

In terms of other specifications, previous leaks indicate that the Magic8 Pro Air will come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen, with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, and storage options that may reach 1 TB.
