Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch a new Wear OS smartwatch before the end of the month. The price of the Xiaomi Watch 5 is expected to reach around 329 euros, and it should be available in two colors with a 930 mAh battery and an AMOLED screen as well.
Xiaomi already has a lot of new devices waiting behind the scenes for its upcoming international launch event. As a reminder, the company has confirmed that its new wave of photography will take place on February 28. The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 UTC, and will take place just three days after Samsung hosts the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.
In short, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra were confirmed to make their international debut on February 28. Now, Xiaomi has turned to some other devices that will also appear during the same event. For example, I’m starting to tease the imminent arrival of not only the iPad 8 and iPad 8 Pro, but also the Redmi Buds 8 Pro and the 15W Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 in more markets.

At the same time, the company teased that the international launch of the Watch 5 is also on the horizon. To clarify, Xiaomi introduced the Watch 5 in December alongside the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Currently, Xiaomi has included one image of the Watch 5 on the teaser page for its global event.
However, crucial details about the smartwatch are hidden in plain sight. Specifically, it shows the Watch 5 with Gemini, Google Maps, Google Wallet, and the Google Play Store installed. Therefore, the Watch 5 will compete with the Pixel Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 8, currently available at a price of $326 on Amazon, by adopting the Wear OS system instead of Xiaomi’s alternative. Based on recent leaks, the Watch 5 will arrive in the eurozone for approximately 329 euros, which is about 390 dollars.
