The feature of searching for images and videos in the conversation on WhatsApp
WhatsApp users can now search for photos, audio, GIFs, links, and sent documents, and it also provides users with more features within conversations on Android and iOS.

WhatsApp recently introduced the advanced search feature in its application for both iOS and Android operating systems, however, it was not noticed due to the hype created by dark mode.
WhatsApp already has a search feature that allows users to search for a specific message across chats on the app. However, it was limited to text messages only and did not allow users to search for images, videos, and audio recordings. The new advanced search feature will allow users to filter their search not only by images, audio, GIFs, and videos, but also by documents and links.
To use the advanced search feature, users need to click on the search icon in the top bar and start searching. The app will display search results from chat history and will also bring options to search for the same keyword for images, links and videos.
