Zamalek reveals the reason for the exclusion of Adam Kayed and Baron Ochieng from the match between Zesco and the Confederation Cup
The director of football confirmed in statements to the Zamalek club’s media center that Adam Kayed suffers from a calf muscle injury, while Baron Ochieng suffered a back muscle injury.
Zamalek will host Zambia’s ZESCO at 3pm today, Sunday, at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, in the fifth round of group stage matches for the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek begins the match against ZESCO in the Confederation Cup with a formation consisting of:
Goalkeeper: Mahdi Suleiman.
In the defense line: Ahmed Khudari – Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh – Hossam Abdel Majeed – Mohamed Ibrahim.
In the midfield: Mohamed Ismail – Youssef Wael Fransi – Ahmed Hamdy.
In the attacking line: Ahmed Sharif – Nasser Mansi – Uday Al-Dabbagh.
On the bench are Mahmoud El-Shenawy, El-Sayed Osama, Mohamed Shehata, Ahmed Abdel-Rahim “Isho”, Mohamed El-Sayed, and Mohamed Hamad.
The White Knight occupies the top spot in Group 4 of the Confederation Cup with 8 points, one point ahead of Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa and Al Masry Club of Port Said, who are in second and third place with 7 points.
